“Escadinhas” is one of the most emblematic places in the village of Carvoeiro.

It’s a natural rock formation but it was subject of a small human intervention, which did not spoiled the place as it was limited to the excavation of steps in the rock, making this intervention practically imperceptible but allowing the site to be easily explored.

The adventure starts right at the entrance, which is made through a small cave, and once in the space you will marvel at its natural beauty.

This is a place of adventure and discovery for the whole family, enjoyed by adults and children alike.
